She’s caring, warm, welcoming and full of energy as she says, Welcome. She’s just the mental image I had made when we used to talk on the phone. The building compound is full of children. The air around is relaxed as today is a holiday and we don’t encounter much traffic. Needless to say, I was full of anticipation as I was to meet Shamshad ji who’s my idol and the Ratras who were the source of inspiration and encouragement for work on the site.Īs we head towards their Powai residence, my heart is brimming with joy. Some of my most enjoyed moments have been spent absorbing the images brought forth by her exquisite voice with its unique timbre and expressive quality.
